Papair Hockey!

Papair Hockey is a quick pen-and-paper game for two players. Print out the PDF and place the page between the players, deciding who will go first. The players will take turns moving the puck, which begins at the square marked in the center of the board. To move the puck, on your turn, choose a direction in which to hit it; your opponent will then choose the distance that the puck will move! Mark off both the direction and the distance on your side, and mark the puck's new position on the board with a number, starting with one, two, three, and so on.
Of course, there are a few restrictions that the players must observe. First, you may not use a direction or distance number again until all of your numbers or directions have been used once. Mark each square or ring section off when you use one, and when a distance column or a direction ring is full, you may choose freely again. The puck bounces off the edges of the game board at right angles, as you would expect. (Example images will be forthcoming...)
If the puck begins in a square next to a wall, it will bounce off as if it had come from the appropriate direction. Each move of the puck should be marked with a new number. You may not move the puck into a square that has already been occupied on a previous turn. If a player is forced to move into a square that has already been used, they lose. If a player is forced to knock the puck into their own goal, they also lose. If you fill up all of the numbered squares, the game is a tie.
Be a good sport - don't take too long counting squares or figuring things out before moving. Play fast and hard! And most importantly, have fun!

This is totally an early draft. There are typos and mistakes, I'm sure, but give the game a spin anyway, and drop me a line letting me know what you think!
